Concord Rise

We want to take our country back.

Being saved did not resemble what I thought it would at the beginning No Heavenly choir sang Jesus did not come down and shake my hand The bells in Heaven stayed silent But, little by little Jesus began to make my heart a comfortable living space for Him He cleared out the landfill I had accumulated little by little and replaced it with things of more substance
Homeless soon became home in a place I felt I could belong, just like my home long ago Flenniken Landing became my harbor of life I became so outgoing I was called the unofficial mayor there I was involved in life and life involved me Then came the door slam
Covid 19 destroyed my home there with masking mandates in a place that Uncle Sam had control over I chose not to let him rule me and I went maskless in the places it was now a no no to do so It was tolerated by the local staff, but an outsider took exception to that and I took exception to that outsiders demand and gave my thirty day notice
That was five years ago and God and I have grown so close I sometimes feel like I am sitting on His lap when I type on this keypad He grew me in five years of homeless dependence to be not only a man of faith, but a man of action Won’t you join me in my quest to motivate others into action First for God Second for country
