Jesus Is The Lighthouse

From the Rocks of Sin

Sin is embedded in our mixed-up, crazy world. No one escapes it. But do not fear—rescue is not far away.

Your ship may be deep in the waves of sin, but a Lighthouse is on the shore, waving you in.

That Lighthouse is Jesus Christ. He is the Light in a dark world.

Ask Him into your heart today. And if He’s already there, ask Him to show you how to confront evil and how to spread seeds of Jesus.

He will be faithful—if you are.

I had a photo to share—a lighthouse that inspired this reflection. But tech gave me night. Still, the Light I speak of shines beyond pixels and screens. It’s the Light that calls us from the rocks of sin to safe harbor.

You know Jesus never is shaken by anything He is the solid Rock that Believers stand on Just like in the hymn He has remained steady in my life even though my buildings tend to collapse, He stays solid and sets up for the next attempt to build That Lighthouse is lighting the way for your ship If He has already caught you attention God Bless You and let His light shine through you You have to invite Him into your heart, though

There’s a growing tide that wants to dismantle the old lighthouse. Not because it failed—but because it still stands. Its beam cuts through the fog of confusion, and some would rather drift than be directed.

They say it’s outdated. Too rigid. Too bright. But the rocks haven’t moved, and the waves haven’t softened. We still need the warning. We still need the way.

Jesus doesn’t blink. He doesn’t dim to fit the mood of the moment. He shines because He must. And those who tear at the foundation do so not out of wisdom, but out of weariness with conviction.

Let the lighthouse stand. Let it shine. Let it offend the darkness.

He has shown a light around me rings so true for me Jesus lives in my heart and His light shines through me I encourage you to seek out that Lighthouse He is not that far away He lives He lives Christ Jesus lives today I know He lives, He lives within my heart

I am the keeper of the Lighthouse I do maintenance so the Light keeps shining Jesus uses me to spread the Good News as well, but I am not to be celebrated He is He is why my ship did not get destroyed on the rocks of sin Praise Jesus and God

This is my last page of commentary I intend to put the Whole song Jesus Is The Lighthouse on my last post in this series I am hopeful that it inspired you as much to read it as I was to write it Light does to darkness what butter and a knife do to a slice of bread It spreads over the darkness Believers unite and spread that light over the bread of a dark world Amen

JESUS IS THE LIGHTHOUSE

There’s a lighthouse on the hillside
That overlooks life’s sea
When I’m tossed it sends out a light
That I might see
And the light that shines in darkness now
Will safely lead me o’re
If it wasn’t for the lighthouse
My ship would be no more

[Spoken]
It seems that everybody about us says:
“Tear that old lighthouse down
The big ships just don’t pass this way anymore
So there’s no use in it standin’ around.”
Then my mind goes back to that one dark, stormy night
When just in time, I saw the light
Yes, it was the light from that old lighthouse
That stands up there on the hill

[Verse 2]
And I thank God for the lighthouse
I owe my life to Him
Jesus is the lighthouse
And from the rocks of sin
He has shown a light around me
That I mighty clearly see
If it wasn’t for the lighthouse
Tell me: Where would this ship be?
