I was born to two wonderful parents, Ronald David Brown Sr and Mintie Marion (Johns) Brown I had a good upbringing I was well provided for Went to school for first five years in a small schoolhouse 3 grades in one room Learned a lot about stuff I now take for granted
Dad got laid off and, we eventually moved to New Jersey I made new friends and, having already moved once, did not really like the idea of moving again when Mom’s Dad died and she inherited part of his estate We moved back into the homestead that we first lived in
I was in High School then and managed to graduate in the top third of my class thanks, mostly, to my ability to memorize I had friends in both places, but, when I moved back, was not able to reconnect with friend I once had
College put this country boy out into the world and it was clear that he had chosen the wrong major and soon grew weary of the grind My memorization did not fit in well with problem solving and I kind of quit attending
Various things I tried to make my way a Bible School, Working for the State, Air Force for four years, but no cigar One marriage faltered and ultimately failed after I was denied reenlistment
Landed a job at a pottery and met my second wife, had two children and she had one when we met That one lasted longer, but ultimately failed because I was immature My ex had her flaws, but she loved me and tried to make it work
Then, came a season of wandering around trying to figure things out until on day outside of Wooster Ohio, God was made real to me I asked Jesus into my heart and He was happy to come on down as Bill Cullen would say He change a heart that was a mess into comfortable living quarters for him
